Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Construction or real estate accounting experience is required.
• Experience with job costing, project accounting, property accounting, or development accounting.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, Yardi, MRI, Procore, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Track project costs, property expenses, and related financial activity.
• Support job costing, construction draws, or property-level accounting.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
• Prepare financial reports and investigate account variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
