Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience in Fresh Produce industry is strongly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Analyze operating costs and identify areas for improved efficiency.
• Maintain and reconcile grower accounts and prepare final settlements.
• Process banking transactions, including wire transfers.
• Manage petty cash accounts and related reconciliations.
• Support year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external CPA, auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This position will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing timely financial reporting to support business decisions and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
