Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• NetSuite experience is required.
• Experience using Resident Interface and/or property management accounting software preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Utilize Resident Interface to maintain accurate resident billing, lease, and financial records.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit processes. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions as needed.
