Job summary

Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV) seeks an experienced 5G cellular systems engineer to architect solutions embedding Qualcomm SoCs into U.S. Government applications.

You will design modem architectures, run link-budget simulations in Matlab, and collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver robust, secure government-grade cellular solutions. The role requires deep knowledge of 5G PHY/MAC/air interface, experience in embedded modem firmware, and the ability to navigate 3GPP standards

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance.
• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of 5G NR PHY/MAC/RLC/PDCP and upper layers, RF principles and MIMO techniques.
