Job summary

KC Current is hiring security personnel to help safeguard guests, players, and staff at the arena and surrounding venues. You will monitor access, patrol perimeters, log activities, and respond to incidents with professional judgment and discretion.

Required are 18+ age, a high school diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary licenses. Strong customer service and calm, clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a security license where required.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to learn and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Demonstrates professional attitude and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Screening of employees/guests/deliveries prior to entry.
• Log all shift activities and investigate/report security incidents.
• Write incident reports.
• Lock/unlock areas as requested.
• Monitor fire suppression system.
• Enforce stadium policies to promote safety.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain safety.
• Respond to security incidents following protocols.
• Provide concourse security and perimeter security.
• Check credentials and tickets to control access.
• Assist with directing visitors and verifying IDs.
• Operate CCTV and access control systems as required.
• Test security and fire system equipment as required.
• Provide field security for players and officials around stadiums.
