Job summary

KC Current is seeking a security team member to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for stadium guests and staff. Responsibilities include screening credentials, patrolling both concourses and exterior areas, operating CCTV and access control systems, and responding to incidents in coordination with event staff.

Applicants should have security experience in venues, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check and obtain the required license.

Qualifications

• Security experience in sports/entertainment venues or related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass background check and obtain required license.
• Valid state driver license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Screening of employees/guests/deliveries prior to entry.
• Log activities and report security incidents.
• Write incident reports.
• Lock/unlock areas as requested.
• Monitor fire suppression system.
• Enforce stadium policies for safety.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain safety.
• Respond to security incidents following protocols.
• Provide concourse security including patrols and access control.
• Escort visitors and staff as required.
• Operate CCTV and access control systems.
• Complete testing of security and fire systems as required.
• Provide field security for players and officials.
• Understand radio and alarm systems.
