Mercedes-Benz Stadium is seeking a seasoned plumber/welder to support its high-profile event venues in Atlanta. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and coordinating with vendors to keep all plumbing systems running smoothly.

This full-time position requires availability for most events, including nights and weekends, and a commitment to safety and high-quality service in a busy, guest-facing environment. Candidates should have five years of experience and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience as a plumber/welder for a major commercial plumbing firm or comparable position.
• Two years college or technical school preferred.
• State Master Plumber license or related certification preferred.
• NFPA certification not required but preferred.
• Must be available for approximately 75% of all events.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance activities; including: preventive maintenance, routine building up-keep, repairs and fulfillment of work orders.
• Assists in managing LEED-certified water retention system through our cistern, water treatment plant, and cooling towers.
• Provides professional safe service related to all stadium plumbing and water systems.
• Maintains documentation and records of work activities through the CMMS system.
• Meets with potential contractors and offers input related to day-to-day operation.
• Maintains maintenance and storage areas in exquisite working condition.
• Repair irrigation and water leaks per code; replace sinks, fixtures, and toilets.
• Drain cleaning and jetting as needed; MIG-TIG welding and brazing as needed.
