Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Concession Stand Worker for the University of Iowa Stadium/Arena in Iowa City, IA. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare items, and ensure safety standards while handling payments at the stand.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to develop guest service skills and learn Aramark safety policies, alcohol procedures, and food handling practices across events.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates positive guest service skills.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• May meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• May obtain TIPS/TEAM card where required.
• May complete Serve Safe certification.
• Previous guest service experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests.
• Take orders and serve guests.
• Prepare and build food items according to recipes.
• Store food following safety policies.
• Set up prep tables and service counters.
• Break down and sanitize workstations.
• Serve food with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Replenish food items to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain friendly, efficient service and positive demeanor.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies including alcohol policy.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Reconcile cash to sales and stand inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
