Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Concession Stand Worker in Iowa City to prepare and assemble food items while delivering memorable guest service. You will follow food safety policies, operate the cash register, and set up/ break down stations as part of a team.

The role supports guest satisfaction with a positive attitude and requires some lifting and the potential to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training on safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates positive guest service skills.
• Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• May meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• May require TIPS/TEAM card where alcohol is served.
• May complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification.
• Guest service experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests courteously.
• Take orders and serve guests.
• Prepare and build items per standardized recipes.
• Store food following safety policies.
• Set up workstations (prep tables, counters, hot wells, steam tables).
• Break down and sanitize workstations.
• Serve guests and ensure satisfaction.
• Replenish items and maintain stock levels.
• Maintain excellent service with a positive demeanor.
• Follow alcohol policy and safety procedures.
• Handle cash register and payments; reconcile cash.
• Protect company assets and assist as directed by manager.
