Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Stackers to assist with stacking equipment and supporting operators in setup, operation, and cleanup. You will help ensure bundles meet production standards and assist in maintaining equipment and safety practices.

The role emphasizes reading factory masters, accurate counting, and willingness to advance toward operator roles. Prior experience in corrugated environments is a plus, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience as a Bundler preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Set-up bundler, hold down arm, load former, and delivery end of machine accurately.
• Secure cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags for production runs.
• Stack finished boxes in accordance with factory master.
• Ensure each unit has top and bottom cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags.
• Monitor box quality and report problems to Operator.
• Assist operator and first helper as necessary.
• Be willing to move up the line to operator regardless of shift.
• Ensure correct bundle and unit counts; report final count to operator.
• Complete required reports accurately and timely.
• Submit maintenance work orders; proactively maintain equipment.
• Follow all company policies including safety and housekeeping.
• Assist in meeting production schedule and suggest improvements.
