Pratt Industries in Ohio is seeking an entry-level stacking operator. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, cleaning and quality checking the stacking process and recommending improvements.

This full-time role offers growth potential with overtime and occasional weekend work, and requires a High School Diploma or GED plus a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast-pace set by the machine operator to meet production schedules.
• Set-up bundler, hold down arm, load former, and deliver end of machine according to setup techniques.
• Secure cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags from production runs.
• Ensure correct bundle and unit counts.
• Stack finished boxes following the factory master.
• Monitor board quality and report problems to the operator.
• Complete all necessary reporting accurately and timely.
• Willing to move up the line of progression and cross-train on other machines.
• Comply with company policies and maintain safety and housekeeping.
