Job summary

dfa is seeking a Stack Operator to operate and maintain the stacker, ensuring correct pallet patterns and efficient production. You will adjust equipment, prepare pallet patterns, and move palletized goods to loadout while upholding GMP, food safety and safety standards.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some production experience; certification may be required during employment. Strong teamwork and English writing skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate and maintain the stacker, using correct pallet pattern while palletizing finished goods and various products.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adjust stacker to proper case size and ensure it is running at optimal efficiency
• Ensure equipment has been set for proper pallet pattern per product requirements
• Move palletized product into the proper location for loadout of product
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
