Jobot is hiring a Stack Testing Technician for on-site work in the New York area. The role involves performing stationary source emission evaluations, collecting samples, and supporting the engineering team with data and reports.

Candidates must be comfortable working at heights on smoke stacks, lift up to 45 lbs, and have a valid driver's license. Training provided; local NYC metro area with some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical technician background or technical school training.
• Strong hands-on mechanical skills and basic electrical systems knowledge.
• Basic computer skills (Excel/Word).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company van.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field tests and collect samples at client sites.
• Prepare data and assist engineering team with reports.
• Stack testing on smoke stacks and operate at heights.
