Job summary

Farmer Focus in Acorn Facility is hiring a Stack Off on the 2nd shift. This full-time, on-site role supports production by lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving product and materials throughout the plant.

You will repeatedly lift 45–75 pounds, stack pallets up to 10 high, and follow all safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout. The job offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support health and retirement alongside growth opportunities.

Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The Stack Off position is responsible for supporting production operations by lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving product, boxes, materials, and equipment as needed throughout the plant. This role helps ensure product is handled safely, pallets are stacked properly, and production areas are supported based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift 45 to 75 pounds repeatedly as part of daily production duties.
• Stack pallets up to 10 high while maintaining stability and safety.
• Perform repeated lifting, bending, carrying, and stacking tasks.
• Work throughout various departments to assist where needed.
• Support production flow by moving, stacking, and organizing product, boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Follow all safety requirements, including use of required personal protective equipment.
• Prevent and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, hazards, or safety concerns.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related requirements as applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company policies, department procedures, and production standards.
• Learn and perform general labor duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move products weighing 45 to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely and accurately stack pallets up to 10 pallets high while maintaining product stability and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to perform continuous physical tasks, including lifting, bending, carrying, reaching, and stacking .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related production, manufacturing, food processing, poultry processing, warehouse, palletizing, or general labor experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience stacking pallets, handling materials, or moving product in a production or warehouse setting.
• Willingness to work in different production areas based on business needs.

New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Work is performed in a poultry production environment and may involve supporting multiple departments based on business needs. Team members may work in varying temperatures, wet or humid conditions, elevated noise levels, and around dust, food-processing chemicals, and moving equipment. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and regularly lifting and moving materials weighing 45 to 75 pounds . Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and eye protection, hair nets, and beard nets, must be worn as applicable.
