Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Young Harris, GA is seeking a Part-Time Stables Trail Guide to join our Equestrian team. This hands-on role involves leading guided trail rides, caring for horses, and maintaining stable operations while delivering high-quality guest experiences in a mountain setting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable around horses, with a commitment to keeping a clean, safe equestrian environment and a positive, professional demeanor with guests

Qualifications

Proven horsemanship and comfort around horses.
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
Willingness to follow safety procedures and instructions.
Basic reading and verbal instruction comprehension.

Responsibilities

Lead guided trail rides and ensure guest safety and enjoyment.
Care for, feed, tack, and handle horses properly.
Prepare horses, pastures, and riding areas for daily rides.
Maintain barns and surrounding grounds in a clean, organized condition.
Follow safety procedures and report accidents or concerns promptly.
Collaborate with other resort departments as needed.
