Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced STA engineer specializing in Exterior to drive quality and capacity across Tier 1 suppliers, covering stamping, assembly, welding, and gaging for body exterior components.

You will lead APQP/PPAP, process controls, and DFMEA, while coordinating with Ford and suppliers to ensure on-time launches and robust production readiness for BEV and ICE platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering or academic equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing and program management within industrial operations.
• Knowledge of stamping, molding, assembly and related processes.
• Fluent English, cross-functional teamwork, and travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Launch management and APQP/PPAP to achieve flawless launches.
• Ensure quality systems, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC adherence.
• Lead root-cause analysis, containment actions, and CIAPs with suppliers.
• Verify capacity, manage bottlenecks, and mitigation plans across suppliers.
