Vomela Commercial Group is seeking a CAD Operator for an onsite role in St. Paul, MN. You will prepare, modify, and refine CAD designs to support production and project needs.

The position requires experience in mechanical design, dies creation, and proficiency with CAD software. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree in drafting or CAD preferred. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in drafting, CAD or related field preferred.
• Experience with mechanical design and dies is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit complex CAD designs with precision and accuracy.
• Interpret and implement design specifications, modifying existing designs as needed.
• Utilize CAD software to design, analyze, and simulate projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support to team members as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
