Job summary

Konik, partnered with a growing client in Saint Paul, seeks an entry-level CAD Drafter to create drawings for installations, prototypes, and packaging. You will collaborate with manufacturing to resolve drafting issues and contribute to new product development, supporting multiple business units.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or certificate in drafting and experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks. This role offers a contract-to-hire path with a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Associates or Certificate in Drafting; 1+ year or relevant experience, new grads considered
• Training and/or experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs
• Background in architecture, graphics, or mechanical design is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Use drafting and design tools to detail and design large and small installations
• Process engineering change requests (ECR) as required.
• Verify dimensional integrity of part details, materials to be used, the relation of one part to another, and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project.
• Draw finished designs from sketches, assemblies, and detailed drawings for special sales orders or changes to standard products.
