Job summary

St. Gabriel Parish is seeking a reliable Part-Time Custodian/Maintenance Person to help keep our church, school, and parish facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for worship and community activities.

The role includes basic repairs, setup for parish events, and seasonal grounds work such as snow removal. Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed and support Catholic mission and values.

Qualifications

• General custodial and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and repair tasks.

Part-Time Custodian/Maintenance Position - St. Gabriel, Hubertus, WI

St. Gabriel Parish is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Custodian/Maintenance Person to help maintain our church, school, and parish facilities. This position plays an important role in supporting our mission by ensuring that our buildings and grounds are clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for worship, ministry, and community activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining parish facilities.
• Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance
• Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for parish events
• Assisting with seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping
• Monitoring building safety and reporting maintenance needs
