Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a restaurant server to join the Food and Beverage team. The role focuses on selling the menu, coordinating with kitchen to ensure timely delivery, and delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced mountain setting.

• Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and/or certifications such as Food Handler’s Certificate and Sips and Tips.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests’ questions.
• Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule reservations for customers.
• Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed.
• Close and clean the restaurant and prepare for food service the next day.

POSITION:

The restaurant server is to sell the menu and place orders with the kitchen to ensure proper timing of delivery. Anticipate all guest’s needs and provide prompt and friendly service.
