Job summary

Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, IA is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (0.9 FTE) to oversee nursing care and supervise clinical staff within the clinic. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and patient wellness. Position requires RN licensure in Iowa and participation in ongoing education.

Pay starts at $27.58 (ADN) or $28.58 (BSN) per hour, with experience-based increases. Shift is Monday–Friday 7am–5pm, with rotating Saturday 8am–12pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.
• Current R.N. licensure in the State of Iowa.
• ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience: Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Clinic Registered Nurse is responsible for managing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patient's health and wellness within their scope of practice.
• The Clinic Registered Nurse will direct and support nursing/clinical personnel providing patient care within the facility as assigned by the Clinic Director or RN Supervisor.
• Evaluation, revision, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care; maintenance of clinical staff personnel and education records; in-services and performs Clinical Staff functions.

MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. About The Job:

The Position: .9 FTE 72 hours per pay period.

Pay: Starts at $27.58 for ADN and $28.58 for BSN, both increase with experience.

Shift: Monday-Friday varies between 7am to 5pm. Rotating Saturday 8am to 12pm.

Position Qualifications:

- Education:

- Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.

- Current R.N. licensure in the State of Iowa.

- ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire

- PALS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire

- Experience:

- Previous experience in a health care setting is preferred.

- Special Skills & Aptitudes:

- Verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrates knowledge and support for the principles of customer relations in daily activities with others.

- Maintains certification in BLS/CPR.

- Completes Mandatory Reporting requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.

- Develops competency to provide care within the assigned unit to the population described in the scope of care.

- Must have basic computer skills.
