Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in Casper, Wyoming is seeking an SSVF Intake Coordinator to lead outreach, conduct formal veteran assessments, establish program eligibility, and manage intake workflows in our case management software.
The role emphasizes data quality, coordination with VOA services and community partners, and providing wrap-around support to help Veterans obtain immediate housing and long-term stability, while traveling to meet clients as needed.
Summary/Objective: The SSVF Intake Coordinator is responsible for providing best practices in intake and data management to assist low‑income Veteran families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and homelessness.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in an office environment and a mobile‑office setting when traveling to meet Veterans' needs and perform outreach activities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position typically makes use of office and personal communication equipment.
This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Traveling to various communities to perform Veterans outreach actions will be necessary with this position. Travel will also be required for training.
