Solution One Industries seeks a capable Simulation Support Technician for the Fort Chaffee, AR site. The role supports ARNG MCTSP and provides expertise in FIRESIM/ExCIS or similar simulations, with emphasis on hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

The candidate should have at least AA/AS level education, 1 year LVC-G experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Full-time, on-site with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field with federations, models, systems, tools and Mission Command Systems (MCSs).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting and software configuration; military and simulation experience preferred.
• Must understand Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and meet IA requirements.
• Must meet DISA INFOSEC Awareness training basic requirements.

We are seeking a Simulation Support Technician for our client site in Fort Chaffee, Ar. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

About the Position

This position is a full-time Non-Exempt (hourly) position, supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). The Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Simulation Technician provides support to the MTC and other training facilities/deployed sites (as required).

Required Skills/Abilities

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field. Demonstrated experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools, and Mission Command Systems (MCSs)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues. Military experiences preferred. Simulation experience preferred.
• Must have an understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS.
• Experience working in a high security environment and management of classified equipment; Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process and Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
• Must meet DOD 8570.01-M Baseline and Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements Level II. Must meet all IA training and reporting requirements.
• Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk--read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement.
• Reports directly to SST Lead.

Qualifications: Duties/Responsibilities

• Serves as the local hardware, software, and functional expert for one of the following: FIRESIM/ExCIS, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE SENGEN, or WARSIM.
• Answers questions concerning operation of the system, troubleshoots problems and provides configuration management on software/hardware systems.
• Provides formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators prior to constructive exercises.
• Maintains setup, testing and troubleshooting guides for SME system.
• Troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of AA/AS degree in relevant field (BA/BS preferred).
