Job summary

ICF is seeking a Data Engineer in Reston, VA to join our ETL/SSIS development team. You will work on data integration solutions for utility and energy clients, collaborating with analysts, developers, and architects to deliver scalable data delivery across systems.

Initial ramp requires 2-3 days per week in Reston HQ, then approximately 1 day per week. Candidates should have 2+ years SQL experience and 1+ year SSIS development, with a focus on flexible, standardized data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL (tuning, writing procedures/functions, building views).
• 1+ year developing/optimizing SSIS packages for flexible and standardized solutions.
• Experience with SSIS parameterized packages in a project SDLC.
• Experience consuming APIs as data sources/destinations.
• Exposure to the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers, and architects to build and support data integration solutions.
• Develop solutions, monitor executions for anomalies, and troubleshoot issues from bad data.
• Initial ramp up will require travel to Reston HQ 2–3 days per week; then ~1 day per week in the office.
