Job summary

The Bergaila Companies is seeking an SSHE Coordinator III to strengthen safety, security, health, and environmental performance across the business. You will translate SSHE plans into effective programs, meaningful metrics, and clear communications for employees, contractors, and operations teams.

You will develop and monitor performance metrics, coordinate SSHE activities, and support regional SSHE Advisors under the SSHE Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety-related positions.
• Ability to implement safety programs, track performance, analyze, report, and coordinate with employees, contractors, and SSHE stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop SHE training covering plant and contractor safety procedures.
• Establish systems for implementing the safety plan, including hardware, software, data flow, analysis techniques, and reporting formats.
• Develop safety communication plans for employees and contractors.
• Design a safety incentive program.
• Coordinate development of Waste Management, Environmental, and Industrial Hygiene plans for turnarounds.
• Review contractor safety plans.
• Participate on teams conducting risk analyses for specific jobs.
• Implement the safety program and compile SHE statistics.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate business performance.
• Coordinate SSHE activities and support the SSHE Supervisor as directed.

Overview

The SSHE Coordinator III supports Business Line SSHE stewardship processes and portfolio analysis. You’ll develop and monitor performance metrics, coordinate SSHE activities, and serve as a point of contact for Regional SSHE Advisors. Working under the direction of the SSHE Supervisor, you’ll help manage and implement the SSHE program.

Key Responsibilities
