Job summary

NDI Engineering Company seeks an experienced Engineering Technician IV to provide technical support for COTS and DMSMS activities supporting the SSDS MK2 suite. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, obsolescence analysis, and strong knowledge of SSDS hardware and software. This on-site Virginia Beach, VA position requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain an active DoD security clearance. The successful candidate will contribute to sustainment, documentation, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on troubleshooting experience with major systems/equipment.
• Experience with obsolescence analysis and DMSMS processes.
• Strong documentation and engineering change processes (SCDs, ECPs, PRs).

Responsibilities

• Conduct obsolescence assessments for SSDS MK2 equipment as part of SCWG.
• Prepare and maintain meeting agendas, action item trackers, and minutes.
• Develop engineering documentation including SCDs, ECPs, and PRs.
• Participate in engineering reviews and assist in documentation for COTS component procurement.
• Provide technical support for sustainment engineering solutions.
• Validate and certify hardware repair effectiveness.
• Support material acquisition activities for COTS/DMSMS cases.
• Recommend solutions for COTS and DMSMS issues to sustain the system long-term.
