Qualifications

• 3+ years in embedded software, firmware, or applications engineering.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller firmware.
• Knowledge of SSDs or storage systems and related tech.
• Understanding of PCIe/NVMe/SATA interfaces.
• Hands-on with JTAG, debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

My client is a global leader in SSD controller technology and NAND flash storage solutions, powering next-generation consumer, enterprise, and AI infrastructure products. They are seeking a Firmware Applications Engineer to develop and support cutting edge SSD controller firmware while working closely with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance firmware features for SSD controller products.
• Debug and resolve firmware issues identified through internal testing and customer deployments.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement reliable fixes.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, applications, and customer engineering teams.
• Support customers throughout product integration and qualification.

Must Have Skills

• 3+ years of embedded software, firmware, or applications engineering experience.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based firmware.
• Knowledge of SSDs, storage systems, or related technologies.
• Understanding of PCle, NVMe, SATA, or similar interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with JTAG, debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience using Git or other version control tools.

Preferred Skills

• ARM or ARC processor architecture knowledge.
• Hardware schematic and PCB design exposure.
• Experience supporting enterprise, cloud, or data center storage products.

Compensation

Base salary range of $150,000-$200,000, plus bonus, RSUs, 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits.
