Job summary

Mapjects is seeking an experienced ETL/BI specialist to design SSAS cubes and develop SSIS-based ETL pipelines. The role requires strong T-SQL skills, data profiling, and familiarity with Data Quality Services. Experience with Excel BI tools and optional EF/Linq to SQL knowledge is a plus.

The candidate will collaborate with clients and management to document requirements and deliver robust BI solutions, with potential remote work options after initial onboarding.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing SSAS cubes.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server SSIS for ETL and reporting.
• Strong T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with Data Quality Services and data profiling.
• Familiarity with common ETL design patterns.
• OLTP DBA experience is a plus.
• Familiar with Excel BI Tools and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients and management.
• Design and develop SSAS cubes for analytics.
• Develop ETL processes using SSIS and generate reports.
• Write and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures and functions.
• Apply Data Quality Services and data profiling techniques.
• Follow established ETL design patterns.
• OLTP DBA experience is a plus and beneficial.
• Utilize Excel BI Tools for reporting.
• Understand Entity Framework and Linq to SQL is a plus.
