Job summary

Mapjects, a leading centralized logistics operations portal platform, seeks an ETL/BI Developer to design SSAS cubes, build ETL with SSIS, and implement T-SQL solutions for reporting and data quality. You will collaborate with clients and management to document requirements and deliver robust data pipelines.

Initially onsite for the first month in Plano, TX, we open to remote work for the right candidate. Strong SQL, BI tooling, and EF/Linq skills are valued; ETL patterns and OLTP DBA

Qualifications

• Experience designing SSAS cubes and ETL with SSIS.
• Proficient in T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with Data Quality Services and data profiling.
• Familiar with OLTP databases and Excel BI tools.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework and Linq to SQL is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with clients and management.
• Experience with ETL design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, explain and document with clients and management.
• Design SSAS cubes and develop ETL using SSIS, including reporting.
• Write T-SQL, stored procedures and functions.
• Apply Data Quality Services and perform data profiling.
• Implement ETL design patterns and support OLTP DB tasks if needed.
• Utilize Excel BI tools for analysis and reporting.
• Leverage EF and Linq to SQL where applicable.

Job Description

• The ability to effectively communicate, explain and document with clients and management
• Highly proficient and comfortable designing SSAS cubes
• Proficient at designing and developing ETL using MS SQL Integration Services (SSIS), reporting
• Proficient at writing T-SQL, stored procedures and functions
• Proficient with Data Quality Services and data profiling
• Experienced with common ETL Design Patterns
• Ability to perform as OLTP DBA is a plus
• Proficient in Excel BI Tools
• Understanding of Entity Framework and Linq to SQL is a plus
