Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator for Mac & Cheese production to support daily manufacturing in a fast-paced facility in Texas. You will set up and operate Lyco and Blentech equipment, monitor weights, and ensure product quality and safety.

Responsibilities include adhering to GMP, maintaining equipment, reporting production issues, and complying with PPE requirements. Prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred, with capacity to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required
• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus
• Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus

Responsibilities

• Sets up Lyco and Blentech production room, makes adjustments to equipment as needed
• Adhering to GMP during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment
• Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line
• Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE as prescribed for each work activity or job
• Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing
• Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner
• All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
