Job summary

Katmai is seeking a Supply Specialist to provide logistics support for the Soldier Recovery Unit (SRU) S4. The role covers supply accountability, budgeting, purchasing, transportation, and vehicle management, with in-processing and out-processing duties for Soldiers in Transition and Cadre.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong English communication, and familiarity with supply systems. Work is performed in an office setting with related duties and occasional field tasks.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of logistics and military supply allocations.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to meet BAMC immunization/health requirements.
• Must obtain/maintain security access and/or background checks.
• Fluent English, literate and computer-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accountability in the S4 Section to support logistics operations.
• In-processing and out-processing for Soldiers in Transition and Cadre.
• Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, and financial reporting within SRU.
• Pickup supplies from BAMC warehouse; assist with routine dock operations.
• Maintain asset management records and process property loss investigations.
• Prepare GPC purchase packets and budget analyses.
• Dispatch GSA vehicles and coordinate transportation for events.
• Prepare briefing materials and present to leadership.
