Job summary

India is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead the development of aftermarket performance hardware for Direct Connection. You will drive design verification, participate in feasibility reviews, and ensure compliance with Stellantis design standards.

You will coordinate with suppliers, prepare BOMs and release packages, support the Crate Engine team, and validate concepts through testing. The role requires cross-functional leadership and hands-on CAD/validation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in powertrain hardware engineering or performance parts development.
• Strong knowledge of engine subsystem design and validation.
• Experience with CAD systems and engineering quality tools (DFMEA, DVP&R, PPAP).
• Proven ability to lead supplier collaboration and cross-functional technical integration.
