Qualifications

• 4 years of power plant experience in an operations or operations support role, 3 years in a nuclear power plant.
• 30 hours of college credit in an engineering discipline equals one year of experience.
• Preferred certifications include Instructor SRO Certification or SRO License.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assigned training, including simulator training, scheduling training programs and classrooms.
• Evaluates trainee performance in classroom, simulator and in-plant training.
• Assists in evaluating training programs to identify improvements; participates in developmental opportunities and corrective actions.
• Performs program/content assessments, audits, benchmarking and industry participation to drive improvements.
• Maintains qualification by completing requalification and instructor training.
• Develops and revises lesson plans and reference materials to support training.

Education

High School/GED or equivalent (Required)

Algebra and trigonometry for thermodynamics/fluid flow

Operate/maintain plant or mock-up equipment
