Job summary

Hyden Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) to join our nursing team. We offer full-time and part-time shifts starting at $16.50/hour. No high school diploma required for the SRNA position; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active SRNA certification with the Kentucky Board of Nursing or have graduated from an approved Nurse Aide Training program and pass state competency evaluation within 120 days of hire.
• Excellent resident care skills and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care to residents under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Maintain a safe, dignified environment and respect residents' rights.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and essential duties per care plan.
• Assist with admissions and unit transfers as needed.
