Job summary

Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA/CNA) to deliver direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents. The SRNA supports the nursing team and strives to help residents live as normal a lifestyle as possible.

The role involves ADL assistance, responding to call lights, safe transport, and reporting findings promptly while maintaining privacy, infection control, and respectful resident interactions.

Qualifications

• Active State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA/CNA) certification in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to residents' call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair to dining, lobby and activities.
• Report significant findings to a nurse immediately.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge.
• Safeguard residents' personal possessions.
• Keep rooms neat and safe; follow infection control techniques.
• Respect residents' privacy and confidentiality.
• Support restorative care to prevent pressure sores and contractures.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output as directed.
