Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Product Manager to join our team and lead the development, enhancement, and extension of our observability platform. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining strategy, and driving the delivery of innovative features to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This team is responsible for transforming our monitoring practices from traditional application and infrastructure monitoring to comprehensive full-stack observability solutions. As a Product Manager, you will help define and shape the future of our observability initiatives and strategies. Utilizing your expertise in software engineering, data management, data streaming, and visualization, you will ensure we accelerate at a sustainable pace and continuously improve from day one.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of proven experience in product management for software engineering projects, especially in developing complex platforms
  • 2+ years working with Site Reliability Engineering teams
  • Strong technical background in observability, monitoring, and related technologies
  • Experience with data management, data streaming (e.g., Kafka), and visualization platforms
  • Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, and data ingestion technologies
  • Proven success in building and managing engineering teams
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of timely delivery
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools
  • Leadership skills focused on motivating and aligning teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills for addressing development challenges

This is a remote role; if you reside within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI, on-site work up to three times a week is expected. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
