Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Technical Leader for the Intersight Team. You will drive reliability, scalability, and security across cloud platforms, lead an SRE-focused team, and collaborate with product, security, and customers to shape the technical roadmap.

The role emphasizes hands-on SRE work, architecture vision, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade SaaS infrastructure in a multi-region setup.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, reliable production systems.
• Proficient with AWS and IaC (Terraform or Ansible).
• Hands-on Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, networking and security.
• Strong observability and monitoring knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD and software development principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural vision and technical roadmap for SRE initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable SaaS infra.
• Own incident management, postmortems, and improvement actions.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence.
• Translate customer needs into scalable data platforms and automation.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and deploy enterprise-scale components.
