Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior-level leader in Austin, TX, to guide infrastructure design, capacity planning, and lifecycle management for reliable, scalable services. You will mentor teams, oversee incident response, and drive automation initiatives across multiple services while maintaining alignment with security and performance standards.

Responsibilities include orchestration of cross-functional partnerships, post-mortem guidance, and strategic improvements to tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure management, or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure management, or related field.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 3 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure management, or related field.
• Doctorate in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 1 year of experience in software engineering, infrastructure management, or related field.
• Automation experience: 5 years in automation.
• Programming experience: 5 years in programming and/or scripting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage multiple medium- to large-scale projects across teams to meet timelines and budgets.
• Drive cross-functional partnerships and coach teams to foster collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Provide direction on complex operational and technical issues and help identify viable solutions.
• Promote continuous learning, skill development, and knowledge sharing across teams.
