Job summary

Toyota Financial Services in Plano, TX is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Platforms to ensure high availability, performance and stability of enterprise platforms. You will manage OSes (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Windows), automate patching, and enhance observability across AWS and on-prem environments.

You will apply software engineering principles, contribute to runbooks, and participate in incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident response.
• Hands-on experience managing RHEL, Amazon Linux, and/or Windows Server in production.
• Experience with patch management tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain operating systems across RHEL, Amazon Linux, and Windows Server.
• Configure, harden, and lifecycle-manage OS environments per security standards.
• Maintain patching across all supported OS platforms and ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain observability with metrics, logging, and alerting.
• Write automation scripts and runbooks to reduce manual toil.
