Job summary

Dirac, Inc. builds BuildOS, an AI process design platform for aerospace, defense and manufacturing, with strategic on-site operations in Midtown Manhattan.

The role oversees end-to-end infrastructure as the sole SRE, focusing on cloud and on-prem environments to support defense customers. You will migrate from AWS to air-gapped on-prem setups, deploy multi-tenant cloud environments, and build robust observability, CI/CD and deployment automation.

Qualifications

• 1-4 yrs cloud infrastructure/SRE/DevOps with containerization.
• Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/Terragrunt/OpenTofu, AWS, Helm, GitOps, OpenTelemetry.
• Thrives in restricted/regulated environments; independent architecture decisions.
• On-site 5 days NYC; US citizen/GC.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure end to end as the sole SRE (cloud + on-prem).
• Architect migration from AWS to on-prem and air-gapped environments for defense/federal customers.
• Deploy and support customer-specific cloud environments (multi-tenant).
• Build observability and monitoring.
• Automate CI/CD, IaC and deployment workflows.
