Job summary

Aalyria Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability / Platform Engineer to design and implement a production-grade observability stack for satellite and aerospace networks.

You will own the strategy for metrics, logs, and tracing across cloud-native environments, enabling proactive reliability and rapid root-cause analysis. You will collaborate with SWE and infrastructure teams, implement GitOps-driven deployments, and define robust SLO/SLI frameworks to ensure launch-readiness

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• 4+ years in an SRE or platform engineering role.
• Hands-on observability stack expertise (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK, OpenTelemetry, Tempo/Jaeger, Honeycomb).
• Strong production experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
• IaC and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Go and Python proficiency for tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Aalyria's centralized observability platform.
• Define and manage SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for core products.
• Collaborate with SWE teams to implement observability best practices and templates.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of the observability stack (IaC, GitOps).
• Ensure deep visibility into Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS environments.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategy.
