Job summary

PNC seeks a Software Engineer Lead to join the Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC). You will be based in one of PNC's IT Hubs: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Birmingham, Phoenix or Denver.

Role involves leading software design, development, and incident rotation support, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and microservices. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot is required.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
