Job summary

PNC seeks a Software Engineer Lead within its Site Reliability Center (SRC) to guide a team supporting critical retail banking apps. Based in an IT Hub (Denver, Dallas, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Birmingham or Phoenix), you will provide technical leadership, design software solutions, and drive incident response and resolutions.

The role requires OpenShift, Hogan, Dynatrace, Linux experience; Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB are a plus.

Qualifications

University/college degree required; 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Certifications often desired; comparable education/experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs; prepares technical and procedural documentation.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues; reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
