Job summary

Illumio in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an SRE Engineer II to manage our multi‑cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS and/or GCP. You will design, deploy, and productionize cloud services, working closely with Engineering, SRE/OPS, and Security teams to improve reliability and scalability of Illumio SaaS products.

You will implement IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, respond to incidents, and drive automation while staying current with cloud trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SRE/DevOps in production.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure in production.
• Exposure to AWS and/or GCP is preferred.
• Automation and scripting for cloud operations.
• CI/CD tooling and microservices architecture in cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Azure certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins).
• Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics.
• Support incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design scalable cloud architectures.
• Implement security controls and regulatory compliance in cloud environments.
• Drive automation to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Stay current with cloud platform updates and evolving best practices.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and foster a learning culture.
