Job summary

Illumio is seeking an SRE Engineer II to manage multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and drive reliability across our SaaS platform. You will design scalable cloud architectures, implement IaC, and build automated CI/CD pipelines with strong collaboration across engineering, SRE/OPS, and Security teams.

The role emphasizes cloud automation, incident response, and keeping systems secure and resilient while shaping the future of cybersecurity with modern tooling and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience as SRE, DevOps, or similar role in production.
• Experience with Azure, and exposure to AWS and/or GCP preferred.
• Proficiency with scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python, Go).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and containerized architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Azure/AWS/GCP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation for provisioning and config management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Monitor performance, health, and metrics; implement proactive improvements.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering to design scalable, reliable cloud architectures.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance in cloud environments.
• Drive automation to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Keep up-to-date with cloud trends and evaluate new technologies.
