Job summary

Visa is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to advance reliability on the Visa Cloud Platform. You will partner with software engineering teams to ensure security, availability and performance, while improving incident response and platform efficiency.

The role emphasizes building end-to-end observability, automation, and AI-driven operational workflows, with a 24/7 on-call support model and in-office collaboration in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• 2+ years in Platform, SRE or Production Eng for high-availability platforms.
• 2+ years with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Github, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps).
• 2+ years with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
• Experience with relational/non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Fundamentals of YAML/JSON/HTML/XML.
• Basic Linux/Windows administration; distributed systems理解.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SLAs and SLOs through automation and standardization.
• Own observability, alerting, and monitoring for the Visa Cloud Platform.
• Lead automation and AI-AIOps initiatives to reduce toil and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams on release reviews and production readiness.
• Support platform maintenance and capacity planning across teams.
• Triage complex incidents and improve incident response procedures.
• Provide 24-7-365 support with on-call rotation as needed.
