Job summary

CheckedUp seeks an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer to own uptime and reliability across its cloud infrastructure. You will implement Terraform-based IaC, manage AWS services, and lead incident response with blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities include building observability, running load tests, and maintaining auditable deployment and change reports for leadership and external audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles with production impact.
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform and AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, containers and CI/CD tooling.
• Proven ability to define SLAs, SLOs, and incident response processes.
• On-call leadership experience and blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Own service uptime and drive it toward SLA commitments.
• Define, measure and maintain SLIs/SLOs; track budgets and incidents.
• Lead incident response and postmortems; ensure remediation completion.
• Build dashboards/alerts tied to SLOs; maintain auditable change records.
