Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to elevate the reliability of our Commerce Platform. You will own critical production environments, define SLOs, and drive automation across cloud infrastructure.

You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to build scalable, secure systems and robust runbooks. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in SRE or related roles, strong Azure and container experience, and a passion for platform reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, SRE, or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including AKS, Monitor, Key Vault, ACR, VNets, Managed Identity.
• Deep experience with containerized/orchestrated environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.
• Proven experience operating and supporting production SaaS systems at scale.
• Keen eye for detail and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the availability, reliability, and performance of critical production environments.
• Define, track, and report on service health metrics including uptime and reliability indicators.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident response and recovery with cross-geo teams.
• Automate operational workflows to reduce toil and improve consistency.
• Support and improve deployment processes while maintaining security posture.
• Design and evolve monitoring, alerting, and observability standards across the platform.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed reliability into system design and delivery.
