Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) seeks a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and AI IT Operations Platforms to lead strategy and implementation of SRE, AIOps, and related modern IT operations.

You will mentor teams, drive automation, and align platforms with governance and industry frameworks. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and partner with technology vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable IT services across the enterprise,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 10+ years of experience.
Extensive experience in IT Automation and leadership, with a track record of enterprise transformation.
Strong knowledge of IT networks, infrastructure, cloud, and digital workplace; experience with AI/AI Ops platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and operationalization of SRE, Observability, Digital Twin, Automation, and AIOps capabilities.
Manage budgets, procurement lifecycles, and governance aligned with regulatory rulings.
Build and mentor high-performing SRE and AI development teams; drive modernization of IT operations into an SRE model.
