Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, using hand and power tools, coordinating supply needs with supervision, and performing routine tasks to ensure building systems operate efficiently while maintaining a clean and secure site.

Position Summary

The site maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings located on property and systems within those buildings. They will fix day-to-day issues like plumbing and irrigation repairs as well as manage regular maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Perform repairs inside/outside buildings.
• Replace floor tiles.
• Repair restroom stall doors, locks and hinges.
• Painting inside/outside of buildings.
• Groundskeeping.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrench.
• Light plumbing and toilet repair.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Communicate supply needs for projects with supervisor.
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.

Technology Required
